It’s time for bitcoin to appear on mainstream television. And the remake of the iconic 1990s TV series Sex and New York, And Just Like That or in Hungarian És észénscák… gave us the opportunity to do so. Remember Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes? This iconic quartet of friends, created by American writer Candace Bushnell, originally came to life in 1998 and showcased the glamor of Manhattan. Fast forward more than twenty years, and the series is back under the new title Once Upon a Time courtesy of HBO, with several new key characters in addition to Bradshaw, York, and Hobbes. Those who have watched the series before know that in every episode there were fabulous clothes, with sumptuous accessories from the most famous fashion designers. In the second episode of the second season of the new series, however, we thought we discovered something interesting. New to the remake, Lisa Todd Wexley, played by Nicole Ari Parker, wears a gold tunic and pants, accessorized with a bag with a Bitcoin logo and extra high heels. In the scene when Wexley runs out of a date gone wrong, the bag is clearly visible, which clearly resembles the accessory of Salvador’s Miss Universe winner. The Salvadoran beauty also wore a similar colored dress, the shade of which refers to bitcoin as digital gold. In the series, the creators do not mention the brand of the bag, and our online search did not yield any results either. It would be nice to know which great designer came up with the golden bitcoin bag, since the clothes in the series are extremely popular among fans, which are snapped up in seconds, no matter how much they cost. If the brand of the bag were to be made public, it would not only be another accessory gathering dust in the closet, but it would also greatly contribute to women becoming more familiar with the world’s leading cryptocurrency, bitcoin.
