The Grand Cruise Terminal in Doha is where the palatial cruise ships dock. The City Gallery is a wonderful world that has been prepared next to the Grand Cruise Terminal in the old Doha Port, which was renovated and newly opened ahead of the World Cup football last year.
Last day, ‘Mawani Qatar’ announced through its social media pages that the Cruise Terminal City Gallery, which provides visitors with a beautiful journey to the beauty of the sea, has been opened to the public.

Adjacent to the sea, the City Gallery awaits the visitors with a variety of fish and visual wonders that introduce the innards and secrets of the sea. Mawani Qatar informs through social media that the gallery is open from Saturday to Thursday from 12 noon to 9 pm and on Fridays from 2 pm to 9 pm.
Visitors entering the City Gallery are greeted by a beautiful map of Qatar decorated with LED bulbs on the floor.

Audio-visual presentations on screens throughout the gallery enhance the visitor experience. Its main content is a glimpse into the authenticity of Qatari culture and an explanation of the country’s stunning scenery and major tourist attractions such as the Corniche.
A framed quote by Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is also one of the main features of the gallery. It carries a message of unity and hospitality.
The lines from Amir’s remarkable speech at the United Nations General Assembly last year as the country prepared for the football World Cup read: “However different our nationalities, religions and ideologies may be, our duty is to transcend them.
To remove barriers and extend the hand of friendship, to build bridges of mutual understanding, to celebrate our common humanity, I invite you to come to Qatar for my people and in my own name and enjoy the great World Cup tournament, a warm welcome to all.”
The Grand Cruise Terminal in Old Doha Port is the entry and exit point for passengers arriving on cruise ships. The cruise season for 2023-2024 started this week. Tens of thousands will arrive from different parts of the world during the cruise season, which lasts until April next year.
More than 80 cruise ships are expected to reach Qatar this time. Eight of these ships are making their maiden voyage to Qatar. There has been a significant increase in the number of ships compared to the previous year.
