Apple green vest and borrowed pout, he is a cashier in a supermarket where prices go up. Sports commentator on the verge of a nervous breakdown – live. Singer in an improbable choir. Parisian stuck in a broken Lausanne metro, with an accent as tense as said breakdown. Blaise Bersinger is all that in Express cashierthe new edition of The Lausanne Review which arrives at the Terreaux Cultural Center next Wednesday. Nearly two hours of sketches and musical interludes to keep up with the cost of living – and other recent adventures in the Olympic capital.
Having just returned to the helm of this joyful company that he co-created in 2018 with producer Sébastien Corthésy, Blaise Bersinger, 32, has always worn many hats. Since his debut on the radio in 2010, the Vaudois comedian has become a chronicler of the absurd (on the airwaves of LFM or Couleur 3), a TV presenter (Bad language, It plays), stand-upper, painter on equines (according to the title of his first show) or purveyor of surprise breads (according to the title of his second)… A born improviser and joke acrobat, known for throwing himself into the void and land on your feet – for pirouettes as twisting as they are unpredictable.
