The ticket office for the new Noisiel cultural season opened its doors on Monday 4 September. This year, circus arts are at the heart of the program. “The cultural season that is beginning is part of the continuity of the political orientation already initiated for several years”, explains the City. It aims to reach a “family audience” but also a “young audience”. This is why the idea of proposing the theme of the circus emerged.
“It’s a bit of a novelty and it makes the link with the activities offered by the cultural center” Michel-Legrand, which is promoting circus lessons this year. The City is delighted with a real “continuity” and “a link between the two”.
“Family Sundays”
One of the target audiences, “is children from 6 months to 11 years old, what we call family Sundays” with shows offered on Sunday followingnoons, around 4 p.m. “There will be music, puppets, circus, song. It is for children accompanied by their parents and it takes place at the cultural centre”.
Many other shows are offered for the “general public, family audiences” on Saturday evening, generally around 8 p.m., in the Jean Cocteaux auditorium.
The season also opens around a first show on the theme of the circus, “who is our red girl and who will be the show Ménage A4, proposed by the A4 collective, with an aerial circus part”. This is offered by the city for the population and will be held on September 23.

Several highlights
Throughout the year, several highlights will punctuate a season rich in entertainment. Beyond the first show offered, residents will be able to enjoy a circus show on November 25 entitled “Au bonheur des vivants”, offered by the company Les Âmes Nocturnes. On January 27, there will be a “participatory puppet show” called “Le ballet du montreur”. And for magic fans, to end the season, the magician Donovan will come to enchant Noisiel on April 27.
“Thematic highlights” will also take place. The City will align itself with other highlights and national events such as the Fête de la science in October with “a youth show, an exhibition, a rally-game”. Another event around the international day of women’s rights or even the night of the museums.
