In 2013, the terrible news broke that Paul Walker had lost his life in a fatal car accident, something that undoubtedly marked the lives of his family, friends and fans. Vin Diesel was one of those who was publicly vulnerable and totally affected by the loss.
The two actors had been friends on screen and in real life. They made promises to each other and shared great moments of their lives together, such as the birth of some of their children, living with fame from box office success, as well as their love for cars and speed.

In a recent interview, Vin Diesel said that when he found out he was having a third daughter, the only name he could think of for her was “Pauline,” in honor of his friend.
When it was time to do it again (name his daughter), I remembered him and when names were to be chosen, I wrote Pauline.
