As summer approaches, Knokke is establishing itself as a pop-up store paradise. The brands flock there to present their creations and meet the upscale clientele who spend the sunny days in the seaside resort. Once once more this year, many brands have taken up residence there for an ephemeral period. From Orta to Mieke Dierckx, here are the boutiques not to be missed.
This has been a recurring phenomenon for several years. Every summer, Knokke-Heist hosts many pop-up stores. Much more than in other seaside resorts. Ephemeral shops that allow brands to follow their customers, where they stay during the months from May to September. Opening a pop-up store is actually a rather logical, even strategic choice.
So, what are the addresses to remember for your next weekend on the Belgian coast? Our selection.
Since its launch in 2017, Belgian brand Orta immediately captured our hearts. Since then, its stylish and above all responsible collections have never ceased to seduce us. So, inevitably, we will not fail to push the door of its pop-up during our next trip to Knokke. From May 18 until August 23, Orta and his latest creations are set up in the heart of the seaside resort, just below the Memlinc.
The opportunity to discover the pieces of the moment, but also items specially designed for the event, essentials for the beach and colorful outfits for the summer, including the sublime collaboration “California Abstract” with Florence Geens (launched on 4 next June). The multidisciplinary artist from Brussels, an expert in collage, painting and drawing, has designed a unique print for Orta that plunges us directly into the atmosphere of her paintings. The result? Four arty and colorful pieces for a 100% Belgian capsule produced in Europe.

Quality timeless basics, as well as bold prints. Here is the program of the Antwerp fashion brand, The Twins, who also offers a short stay in Knokke. It is in a shop with a candy pink and red facade (which sets the tone!) that fashionistas will be welcomed. There will be something for all tastes and for all budgets. An unmissable appointment!

The Brussels boutique Axl Jewelry sets up shop a few steps from the sandy beaches. A selection of jewels carefully chosen by Axelle Delhaye as well as her own creations will be presented. Something to match your summer outfits with the most beautiful adornments. Bohemian style jewelry set with delicate and elegant stones. Get ready to shine under the Knokke sun. But first, a little patience. The pop-up store will only open its doors in August, and more precisely, from August 5 to August 12.

After Mechelen, Brussels and Antwerp, Mieke Dierckx takes over Knokke for four months. The Belgian leather goods brand has been installed since May 15 in its pop-up store, where it offers timeless handbags in bright summer colors, but also classics and new models for fall-winter 2023 .
From the start in 2012, Mieke Dierckx experimented with a laser cutting technique to create new 3D models. If playful scales remain the signature of the brand, Mieke now uses other techniques to design its collections… just as unique.

This year once more, the top model and fashion designer Cesar Casier is present in Knokke with his pop-up “Cesar & Friends”, and this, until September 30th. Each year, the store brings together a surprising range of lifestyle brands founded on craftsmanship, sustainability, quality and a timeless aesthetic. Opposed to fast-fashion, Casier wishes, for the fifth consecutive year, to inspire with brands to which he feels connected and of which he would gladly be a customer.
For this edition, the Swiss watchmaker Tissot is thus present in order to introduce holidaymakers to the world of the brand and its novelties. The Belgian accessories brand Charlotte Beaude is also established there. The Brussels label, renowned for its collection of high-end accessories, is therefore moving to the premises located below the legendary Memlinc, where the Belgian designer is exhibiting her new summer pieces, inspired by her grandfather’s shirts. “Gustave” expands its collection in this way with scarves, dresses, skirts, enveloping tops and shirt dresses. Soft materials that smell like summer.

If you do not yet know Livthelabel, a visit to the pop-up store in Knokke is essential. This summer, the brand is once once more teaming up with KOMONO to open a pop-up store on the Belgian coast. The summer collections of the two brands, as well as those of Wild and Hipanema will be presented there.
The Livthelabel collection is specially designed for women who want to create their own style and stand out, as the team details on its website. It’s made from colorful, playful and durable materials and includes maxi dresses, bold tops, timeless tailoring and one-of-a-kind sets. Knokke according to Louis Vuitton
The Belgian coast inspires even the biggest brands. Louis Vuitton has just presented the latest edition of the iconic Knokke bag. This summer, a breath of fresh air is blowing on the House’s timeless Monogram, which is adorned with summery hues thanks to a new combination of light prints, inspired by an imaginary journey to the historic Asnières workshop, passing through the streets of Lisbon as well as on the sunny beaches of the whole world, following the example of Knokke.
Beyond the iconic Monogram flowers, the ties on the sides, borders, handles and lining of the bag are adorned with a unique pattern inspired by the earthenware tiles present in Louis Vuitton’s family home in Asnières as well as traditional Portuguese Azulejos.
