73 shops in the Gumpi are now working together and presenting themselves in a “Creative District Guide”.
Gumpendorfer Straße in Mariahilf offers a wealth of small designer shops, fashion stores and traditional handicraft businesses. In order to present their services together in a clearer and more detailed way, the local companies have now come up with something new.
Elvyra Geyer and Zigi Mueller-Matyas, co-producers of the MQ Vienna Fashion Week, presented the so-called “Creative District Guide” on Thursday. This illustrates 73 shops, cafés and restaurants located there, which present new and innovative ideas with local colour.

Grätzlfest
In their “Not Another Concept Store” the two fashion designers show creative and unique fashion with the flair of refreshing styles that are intended to represent the identity of the Gumpendorfer Grätzl. According to Geyer and Mueller-Matyas, local fashion from Vienna should thus regain a higher status in the consciousness of the Viennese.
Desire for Mariahilfe
A relaxed, early summer get-together, one or two summer drinks – and a new “Creative District Guide” to taste: Mariahilf has a variety of creative and modern shops just waiting to be discovered.
