Discover the Best of Cinema, Theatre, Literature and Television: From Hawaii to Tango and Thrilling Tales, with Christophe Hondelatte

This week nWe could have recommended Hajime Hashimoto’s film “Hokusai”, a bewitching and colorful biopic to discover the life of Katsushika Hokusai, this famous Japanese painter of the 18th century whose remarkable prints have crossed the ages, to the point of making the master one of the greatest draughtsmen in the history of art. But we preferred to focus on the five-star cast of “ Hawaii » or the breathless news items told by Christophe Hondelatte. We also let ourselves be carried away by the Tango y tango creation, as by the new novel by Adeline Dieudonné.

Bewitching

The cocktail of this musical promised to be promising. Argentinian author Santiago Amigorena, music by Philippe Cohen Solal (creator of Gotan Project) and on stage, rising film star Rebecca Marder. Sophie Marceau was not mistaken who wanted to attend the premiere of Tango y Tango at the Théâtre du Rond-point. An interesting reflection on this hypnotic dance, a bewitching trip to Buenos Aires where a young woman in search of her roots converses with a “ghost” who prefers to forget her past. Special mention to the choreographies of Matias Tripodi and the captivating voice of Cristina Vilallonga (Gotan Project).

Confined and convinced that they are going to die, each then delivers truths that they would never have dared to confess. When they learn that it is a false alarm, it is already too late to go back… A hilarious comedy in which Bérénice Béjo, Elodie Bouchez, Manu Payet, Eye Haïdara form a delirious group of friends. R.L

TELEVISION

Hondelatte tells

The former presenter Let the accused enter returns to the small screen with an adaptation of his Europe 1 storytelling program. Not wanting “to redo what has already been done”, he bets on little-treated cases, which occurred between 1925 and 1954 (Jacques Fesch, the Papin sisters …), And a new technique, the “XR”, which allows him to “enter” 3D sets. All the more disturbing that Christophe Hondelatte also plays all the protagonists on the screen. A television UFO that is worth a look.
