Since 1999, the Tremplin Competition has offered a privileged platform to young talents and emerging artists. Set up during the first phase of the L’Boulevard festival, it brings together a preliminary selection of around twenty groups and artists, chosen by a jury made up of musicians and music industry professionals, who listen to the models, study the applications received and evaluate the creativity, quality and originality of the proposals in the rap/hip-hop, rock/metal and fusion/other current music categories.
The call for applications for the Tremplin allows us, as a press release sent to our editorial team reminds us, to take the pulse of the emerging music scene, thus providing an overview of what is being created there.
The novelty is that during this new edition, the committee received a total of 281 applications. That is 236 applications in the rap/hip-hop category, 12 in the rock/metal category, and 33 in the fusion and other current music category.
After two intense days of deliberations, the jury finalized its decision on August 12 and 13, selecting 15 groups and artists, divided into 7 groups for the first category, 4 for the second and 4 for the third, we might learn via the same document.
