Discover Reforge, the next installment in the Arma saga which announces a certain renewal

Arma IV is not for now, but the mysterious Arma Reforger seems to be getting closer! A leak share on Reddit allowed us to discover a guide to the game, a few days before the big announcement teasée par Bohemian Interactive.

According to these trainings, Reforger will act as a bridge between current games and the future Arma IV, which promises to be particularly complex but fun to develop. The idea is to bring together as many players as possible on the best iteration of the license possible; thus, the console players will have for the first time the opportunity to try their hand at Arma !

And to attract as many people as possible, the studio is counting on the brand new Enfusion Engine. Announced last December, this engine chart features jaw-dropping graphics, of course, but will also be free of the bugs that have long plagued the series. Since its announcement, Enfusion had been presented as a tool for both PC and console players, and it seems that this role will be transcended par Reforger.

The setting of the game will be the fictional island of Everonin the Atlantic Ocean – not far from Malden, so. The conflict will be as novel as it is dystopian as it will take place in 1989, during a larger war between the Soviet Union and the United States. A bit like a cold war, only hotter. Anyway, fans of the saga should find the major elements that they like so much, with a little updating and novelties to sprinkle it all over.

With Reforgerit seems that Bohemia Interactive wants to relaunch interest around its flagship license… but also preparing for the future. This new game will be a baptism of fire for the Enfusion Engine, in order to tweak details and features; it also seems likely to want to train modders in these new technologies, in order to guarantee the best possible support when the game is released. Arma IVin a few years !

According to the leak, Reforger will be released on the heels of the Bohemia stream, so the 17 May. After the relative failure of the 2.0 of Arma 3we imagine that fans will be happy to put something really innovative in their mouths!
