April 28 at Group SEC “Europe” “VKontakte” announced the opening of the first Maag store in Kaliningrad, which is considered the successor to Zara. What is sold there, how much it costs and where it was produced, the Klops correspondent asked.
For women
Maag’s women’s department is the largest in the store, and the range here is noticeably wider than in men’s and children’s. For example, there are several lines of jeans. Most of them cost 3,299 rubles and are made in Bangladesh.
Lots of Turkish jackets. The maximum price is 8,999 rubles.
A dress made in Cambodia costs 3,599 rubles, China – 4,599. Turkish ones can be found for 4,599 and 2,999 rubles.
Of the shoes in the trading floor, there are only sneakers. To wear these, you have to pay 6.5 thousand rubles.
From outerwear there are jackets, including jeans and leather jackets. The latter costs 17 thousand, the manufacturer claims that this is genuine leather. Almost all are made in Bangladesh.
The minimum price for a T-shirt from the same Bangladesh is 1,299 rubles, sweaters from this country cost no more than 2,999.
For men
On the shelves are classic Turkish-made trousers and jeans “made in Bangladesh”.
T-shirts and sweatshirts from Bangladesh and China are sold at prices ranging from 1,599 to 2,999 rubles. For Pakistani sweaters, Maag asks for 2,299. Sweatshirts are also made in Pakistan.
Outerwear includes Turkish jackets and a Pakistani-made leather jacket. The cost of the first ones is from 5,599 to 9,999 rubles, the price tag of a leather jacket is 16,999. There is also a denim jacket.
Shoes are the same as in the women’s department: Maag sneakers, only the price tag is lower – 5,599 rubles.
For children
The department is comparable in size to the men’s, the assortment seems to be wider.
