Writer and draftsman, Frédéric Pajak admires the writers who, from Walter Benjamin to Emily Dickinson, from Léautaud to Pessoa, haunt the pages of Uncertain manifestothis great work in nine volumes, and the designers whose works he publishes, Topor, Yersin, Mix & Remix… The tireless creator goes even further by organizing in Arles, his adoptive city, the Festival of Drawing, the first of which edition is held from April 22 to May 14.
Dunce derivative

The smoky Martial Leiter resonates with the reds of Aloïse, a great figure in art brut. The iconoclast Pavel Schmidt spawns with the hyperrealist Emilienne Farny…

Credit where credit is due: a drawing by Sempé is on the cover of the catalogue. We see a hundred characters crossing the sky in single file on a tightrope. No doubt there are some 8 billion of them behind, poor bipedal insects suspended in the void waiting for the fall. The learning of ontology goes through drawing.
