“Today we are laying the foundations for a lasting legacy.” The Geneva Minister of the Economy, Delphine Bachmann, was not the only one to be enthusiastic, this Wednesday, September 6, for the new project of the watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet.

It was in the presence of its entire board of directors, Jasmine Audemars, former president of the board of directors, the authorities of Meyrin, as well as numerous guests that the brand from Le Brassus symbolically laid the first stone of its new industrial building in Meyrin. A time capsule was buried in the heart of the site to mark the event. It contains a brand new product, which will be marketed in the coming months, its complete manufacturing file, the list of personnel, a metal plate with the laser signatures of the collaborators, as well as copies of the Temps and of The Geneva Grandstand of the day.
