Since watchOS 7, Apple has allowed you to monitor your sleep using Apple Watch. From watchOS 9 the thing expanded, allowing information such as the stages of your nights (such as REM and deep) to be tracked.
However, anyone who thinks that this is the only way to track information regarding their sleep is mistaken. In fact, there are several apps available on the App Store for this purpose — both for those who have an Apple Watch and for those who only have the iPhone.
In this article, we’ll show you some of these apps that set out to do just that. Let’s go?! ????
Sleep Cycle
Sleep Cycle is a very complete application. It can monitor your night’s sleep using a sound technology patented by the company, in addition to the accelerometer present in the device. Another curious piece of data that is accompanied by the app is the analysis of snoring.
In addition, Sleep Cycle can wake you up at the best time of the morning, during a break when your sleep is lightest.
The app is available for iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches. Despite being free, it is powered by subscriptions – but it is possible to test it for free for seven days.
Sleep++
Despite having a very simple and not very flashy look, Sleep ++ becomes a good alternative for a good reason: it automatically detects when you are sleeping with the Apple Watch.
Even so, you can also choose to start/stop sleep tracking if you like. All data is shown not only in Sleep++ itself, but also dumped into the Health app — thanks to the integration with the framework HealthKit.
Sleep++ is completely free, but you can pay a one-time fee of R$11 to help the developer with the project and also remove in-app advertisements.
SleepWatch
Like Sleep Cycle, SleepWatch also monitors sounds during the night, which includes snoring. You can still view graphs to track your performance during the nights and even choose a sound to help you relax and sleep – like rain noise, for example.
To access certain SleepWatch features, a subscription is required. The app, however, can be downloaded for free.
SnoreLab
This app is focused on those who think they are snoring too much. To do this, just leave the app open and running next to your bed and, when you wake up, find out your score, when it occurred, the height and even hear the most relevant parts of snoring at night.
To record a full night’s sleep, you need a subscription — which costs R$20 per month or R$60 per year.
So, which app do you use out there to improve your sleep? ????
