Disclosure of the starting points of the special plan for the fourth Estonian-Latvian electricity connection


The Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture informs about the public display of the starting points of the state special plan and the program of strategic assessment of the environmental impact and the holding of public discussions.

Planning purpose and public display

The plan envisages the fourth Estonian-Latvian electricity connection from the town of Paide through the town of Lihula to the west coast of Saaremaa. The materials can be viewed during a public exhibition in the period 23.09-23.10.2024 on the website of state planning or in paper form in Saaremaa, Muhu, Lääneranna, Põhja Pärnumaa (in Vändra and Pärnu-Jaagup townships), Märjamaa, Lääne-Nigula, Kehtna, Rapla and Tür municipality, in Paide town hall. and in the common building of the Ministries during their opening hours.

During the public exhibition, written opinions about the baselines and impact assessment program can be submitted until 23.10.2024 at info@agri.ee or the Ministry of Regional and Agricultural Affairs, Suur-Ameerika 1, Tallinn 10122.
