Internet sources have published unofficial data on some of the characteristics of the flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S23 family, which Samsung is expected to announce early next year.
It is reported that, like the current Galaxy S22 series (pictured), the future family will include three models: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 + and Galaxy S23 Ultra. If you believe the published data, new items will inherit the size and resolution of displays from their predecessors.
So, the basic version of the Galaxy S23 will allegedly receive a 6.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, and the equipment of the Galaxy S23 + variant will include a 6.6-inch panel with the same resolution. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is credited with having a 6.8-inch matrix with a resolution of 3088 × 1440 pixels.
In this case, the dimensions of the case will change somewhat compared to the current generation of devices. For the Galaxy S23 smartphone, they will be 70.9 × 146.3 × 7.6 mm versus 70.6 × 146.0 × 7.6 mm for the Galaxy S22. In the case of the Galaxy S23+, the dimensions are 76.2 × 157.8 × 7.6 mm versus 75.8 × 157.4 × 7.6 mm for the Galaxy S22+. Finally, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be enclosed in a case with dimensions of 78.1 × 163.4 × 8.9 mm versus 77.9 × 163.3 × 8.9 mm for the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Of course, all the data provided is not final, so the actual characteristics of upcoming smartphones may be different. The announcement of the devices will take place in the first quarter of 2023.
