Huge disappointment for Switzerland in Stirling. Marlen Reusser gave up in the time trial of the Worlds which saw the victory of the American Chloe Dygert. The American won her second individual title at the Worlds following winning the pursuit.
Marlen Reusser (31) made this 36.2 km time trial his big goal for the season. But nothing happened as planned, she pointed to the first intermediate with more than 30 seconds behind (12 km). The Bernese dismounted a few kilometers further before collapsing in tears.
