Patron of several establishments over the years in Bordeaux and on the right bank, this colorful native Portuguese died at the age of 61.
There was the Trois Marches in Bordeaux, the Inter truckers, Cours Balguerie, then at Orlando in Sainte-Eulalie, at Orland’ in Bassens and La Belle Rose in Lormont. In each of the establishments he held, Orlando Meirinhos Gonçalves gave the image of joviality and celebration. Fallen ill last March, he was swept away by a devastating cancer on June 4th. He was buried in his village of Mirando do Douro, Portugal.
