The family of Sihem, a young woman aged 18, was still without news of the missing, Monday evening, on the side of L’Habitarelle, district of the commune of Salles-du-Gardon, north of Alès.

The investigation, opened for “kidnapping and forcible confinement”is entrusted to the research section of the Gard gendarmerie. The hearings of the girl’s entourage continuedMonday, as well as the study of his telephony and his schedule.
The place where the young woman disappeared is a residential area, located in the town of Salles-du-Gardon.
According to our information, the gendarmerie seized video-protection images of the Pasteur campus, a school located in rue d’Alger, in Salles-du-Gardon, her grandmother’s home from where she would have left in the night of Wednesday 25 to Thursday 26 January. Images of the surrounding municipalities are also being analyzed.

Sihem is 18 years old, 1.69m tall, of normal build, with brown hair.
At this stage of the investigation, these elements have not led to significant progress. “All the technical investigations have been launched and a gendarmerie cell is at work with the research section of Nîmes”, indicated, Monday evening, the public prosecutor of Alès, François Schneider. The family, through their lawyer Me Sara Benlefki, continues to share their “tremendous concern” and “impatiently” awaits Sihem’s return.
