Despite a more than followed transport strike and very cool weather, nothing or almost nothing would have prevented the fans from Dirty Honey to attend their first date in Paris. And it’s complete!
Hard rock fans rush to find the best possible seats and are greeted by THE WILD THINGS. The English rock band formed and led by Sydney Rae White (vocals/guitar). Overseas TV actressSome, so we understand his ease on stage. Surrounded by three guys, the performance has the merit of finding takers. The exchange is warm; we remain in spite of everything on our hunger musically speaking. Special mention for the multiple changes of guitar with capo, why not tune your guitars correctly by the way? Wild yes, but too quiet.

Leather goods is now filled as it should be and the stage awaits only the young people of DIRTY HONEY. This Parisian premiere follows their French premiere, last June during the 2022 edition of the Hellfest. Despite an almost invisible promo, connoisseurs and fans did not miss this event and jumped on the box office as soon as this promising concert was announced!
Officially established since 2017 around Sunset Boulevard -hold on- the Americans especially made people talk regarding them with their single “When I’m Gone” which was at the top of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songsan exceptional first for an independent group.
Dark glasses, half-open shirts, Marc LaBelle, John Notto, Justin Smolian are now accompanied by Jaydon Bean (battery). The performance is carried out brilliantly in front of an audience already won over to its cause. Their first album Dirty Honey (2021) is obviously at the center of all the debates. And the set is completed by the single “Heartbreaker” and two covers (“Last Child’ fromAerosmith et “Let’s Go Crazy” de Prince). This tour is also an opportunity to unveil their new title “Ride On”!
The performance is energetic, dynamic and the symbiosis with the audience is more than interesting. Hard rock fans are delighted, and guitar fans are equally delighted with the talent of John. We nevertheless regret a balance that might have been better. Indeed the guitar will be brought up in the mix during the evening, at the request of Marc following a discussion with the public. On the other hand, the voice was slightly behind throughout (depending on the placement of each person in the room).
A real plebiscite! No doubt we will hear regarding Dirty Honey shortly on the national territory.
