Thiruvananthapuram: Director Ramasimhan Abu Bakar (Ali Akbar) resigned from BJP. He was a member of the party’s state committee and had earlier vacated all posts. Ramasimhan has now made it clear that he has completely left the party relationship through Facebook. He announced his resignation in a letter sent to the state president.
He said in a Facebook post that he is not a slave to any politics and is completely independent. Sharing the picture of his shaved head, Ramasimhan said that he kept his promise and shaved his head when Kummanam Rajasekharan lost. Below this note, he clarified that he left the BJP.
Director Rajasenana and actor Bheeman Raghu had recently left the BJP. After this, Ramasimhan from the film industry also resigned from the BJP.
