The director released his intimate Christmas present on December 24. A work produced in collaboration with the department’s tourist office.
An ode to the Cotentin. Director François Dourlen has produced a short film in which shots of his native land follow one another. A video entitled “A Present by Nature”, in which he pays tribute to this “gift that I received from my parents, a gift that I give to my children”.
The images, captured over nearly a year, parade to a gentle melody for more than two minutes. An ode to life where the elements of nature rub shoulders with the beginnings of an existence; the little feet of a child who will discover the beauty of this region that the director loves so much.
“I put a lot of time, heart and myself into this film”, specifies François Dourlen in a message.
“I dedicate “A Present by Nature” to all the lovers of our region and to all those who, for sure, will become one.” To make his video, the artist surrounded himself with Alexis Rault, composer, and Claire Larguemain, author.
In 2019, François Dourlen released a first creation on the Cotentin entitled “Unique by Nature”. It is therefore quite natural that the Cotentin tourist office reiterated its collaboration with the director.
