Director Choi Dong-hoon revealed his strong determination to present the second part of ‘Alien + Humans’.
On the morning of the 22nd, a production briefing session for ‘Alien + Humans’ Part 2 (Director Choi Dong-hoon) was held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. At the event, director Choi Dong-hoon, who directed the production, and actors Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Tae-ri, Kim Woo-bin, Yeom Jeong-ah, Jo Woo-jin, Kim Eui-seong, and Jin Seon-gyu attended and shared various stories regarding the work.
‘Alien + Human’ Part 2 is a movie that follows Part 1 and tells the story of humans and gurus trying to save the world by returning to the present while hidden secrets are revealed in a fierce battle for a new sword. Director Choi Dong-hoon, who was in charge of directing, recalled, “I did post-production work for a year and a half,” and “I spent my days in the editing room just looking at the actors’ eyes. I felt like they were family members living together.”
Director Choi Dong-hoon, who gritted his teeth due to the harsh criticism of Part 1, strengthened his resolve. He recalled, “During post-production, I felt once more regarding making a movie,” and “I was purified through this process.” He also mentioned Lee Ha-nui, who will be the new key to Part 2, and left a hint, saying, “She is a modern-day character who holds a very important key in Part 2. It was difficult to name her because she was so important.”
Meanwhile, the second part of ‘Alien + Humans’ is scheduled to be released in January next year.
