“Today, our task was to tell the court regarding her as an athlete and as a person, regarding her role and contribution to the success of the Yekaterinburg club and Russian women’s basketball in general,” club director Maxim Ryabkov told The Washington Post following testifying. “It was the first time I’ve seen Greiner since February, and ‘thank God she feels good and looks good.’

Team captain Evgenia Belyakova called Brittney Greiner “a great teammate” who is sorely missed by her colleagues.
