Directing 50% of health centers to work in two shifts during Ramadan

The Ministry of Health directed the opening of 50% of health care centers within the main cities by receiving patients in the evening shift, in addition to working in the morning shift.

And the ministry stated, in a circular, which he reviewed, “News 24It is directed to the health affairs in the regions and governorates, and executive officials in the health clusters, that all centers operate from 10 am to 4 pm and schedule appointments accordingly.

The circular directed the opening of 50% of health centers within the main cities to receive patients for an evening period in addition to the morning period, provided that their work is in scheduled clinics from 9 pm to 12 am for family medicine clinics, vaccination clinics, healthy children, and influenza vaccinations.

The circular referred to the scheduling of dental clinics in health centers in the morning and evening, while the shift and urgent care centers receive visitors without an appointment, with the same numbers as before Ramadan, and they can be increased when needed.

It also guarantees that the working hours of the 24-hour centers are the same, and the centers that work 16 hours in two shifts of 6 hours each: 10 am – 4 pm and from 9 pm to 3 am.
