Direct – War in Ukraine: Russia is gaining momentum. Bakhmut, more isolated than ever, bends but does not break

The fighting continues in Bakhmut in Donetsk, the fighting continues, more violent than ever. Faced with Russian forces, the Ukrainians do not retreat. A heroic resistance underlined, almost hailed, by the founder of the private military militia Wagner, Evgueni Prigojine and which is reminiscent of the situation in Mariupol some time ago. A complicated situation therefore for Zelensky’s men, confirmed by British intelligence for whom the city is increasingly isolated.

The build-up of the Russian offensive is no longer limited to Donetsk, however. Elsewhere in the country, Vladimir Putin’s troops are becoming more and more pressing. In Kharkiv, five people were injured following a raid hit the city center, hitting houses and the university. In Kherson, a fire broke out following bombs from Moscow hit a school without causing any casualties. Cities liberated from the yoke of the invader a few months ago and which fear that the nightmare will start once more soon.

Meanwhile, the insistent rumor that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will come to Brussels this Thursday is being confirmed.
