The conflict in Ukraine continues this Wednesday, February 22 in Ukraine, two days before the first anniversary of the start of the conflict. This Tuesday, while Putin was making a river anti-West speech, an attack on a building and a bus stop in Kherson left 5 dead and 16 injured according to the latest reports. According to the Ukrainian armed forces, no less than 59 Russian attacks were perpetrated on Ukrainian soil on Tuesday, February 21. Ukraine reportedly carried out eight attacks on Russian positions, including two airstrikes on anti-aircraft missile systems.

L’Institute for the Study of War asserts that Russia continues to reinforce its presence, including Wagner’s troops, behind the front in the Oblast of Zaporijia. Advances by the Russian army were also reported around the city of Bakhmout according to the institute.
