Direct – War in Ukraine: 45 dead and twenty missing in the Dnipro strike

Ukraine on Tuesday stopped its search for survivors in Dnipro, under the rubble of a residential building destroyed by a Russian missile, one of the deadliest bombings of the war, which left 45 dead and around 20 missing according to a last report.

Regional Governor Valentyn Reznitchenko reported 45 dead, including six children, on Tuesday followingnoon. The previous toll reported 44 dead, 20 missing and 79 injured. This human toll has become one of the highest since the start of the war and it risks increasing further as the Kremlin promises to “burn” the Western tanks promised in kyiv.

Moscow denies all responsibility for the massacre in Dnipro and puts the blame on the Ukrainians. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov referred to “a tragedy“possibly due to a shot by the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense.
