OR Interamerican proceeded to direct support of the Hellenic Rescue Team for her supply of equipment and means of personal protection for volunteer rescuers which operate all these days in extinguishing destructive firesin order to protect human lives, property and the ecosystem of our country.
It is noted that EOD volunteers operate 24 hours a day in places where fires have broken out, in collaboration with the Fire Service and local Civil Protection authorities, with emphasis recently on two big fronts of Rhodes and Corfu. Levels of the EOD help with whatever means they have, both operationally in firefighting, and in providing First Aid to residents, but also to firefighters facing respiratory or other health problems. At the same time, they carry out continuous patrols for possible flare-ups.
“This is an initiative that will allow EOD members to operate, primarily ensuring their personal safety. A move as a sign of gratitude to all these people who, at the risk of their lives, put up a huge fight on the fronts of the fires,” said the Chrysa Eleftheriou, Sustainability and Stakeholders Relations Leader του Ομίλου Interamerican.

Interamerican, for several years, has developed a substantial cooperation with the Hellenic Rescue Team (EOD) in the field of first aid, prevention and response to natural disasters. In fact, in July, he organized specialized training course for employees regarding the prevention and treatment of fire both in a domestic environment and in the countryside.
