Diplomacy. Israel announces a historic summit with Morocco, the United States, the Emirates and Bahrain

Israel announced on March 25 that it would hold a “historic” summit on the occasion of the planned visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, with the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Bahrain, three Arab countries which recently normalized their relations with the Israeli state.

“At the invitation of Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, next Sunday and Monday (March 27 and 28, 2022), a historic diplomatic summit will be held in Israel,” the office of the Israeli foreign minister said.

“The US Secretary of State and the Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Bahrain will arrive in Israel for a series of diplomatic meetings,” the same source continued.

As a reminder, the head of American diplomacy, Antony Blinken, will visit Israel, the West Bank, Morocco and Algeria from March 26 to 30.
