New Delhi: Indian squash player Tipika Pallikkal is back following a gap of four years. Deepika will compete in the World Championships to be held in Glasgow from April 5 to 9. Deepika was married to Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik in 2018. In 2021, they will have twins. With this, Deepika was busy in the role of mother.

Deepika said that by April, the babies will be six months old and she is undergoing rigorous training. Deepika also said that the Kovid crisis and knee injury had delayed her return. In 2014, Deepika and Joshna Chinnappa won gold at the Commonwealth Games. Deepika became the first Indian woman to reach the top ten in the world.
