Bambey, March 20 (APS) – Bassirou Diomaye Faye, candidate of the “Diomaye President” coalition in the presidential election on March 24, committed Wednesday to solving the problem of access to water in the rural world , notably in Bambey (Diourbel, center) if he is elected President of the Republic.

“Bambey has a problem that it shares with many localities in the rural world including Ndiaganiao and this problem is nothing other than access to drinking water,” he declared during his caravan in the arteries of the eponymous commune. He says he has noticed that for several months the populations have been in a standoff with the companies in charge of managing rural drilling.

The candidate of the “Diomaye president” coalition aims to undertake, upon his accession to power, reforms on the management of rural water supply. The objective, he indicated, is to ensure populations have access to water in quality and quantity.

He also underlined the lack of hope of young people who engage in illegal emigration, inviting young people to support the project he is proposing to the Senegalese. Before ending his caravan in Bambey, the candidate of the “Diomaye President” coalition invited his activists and supporters to mobilize and vote from the early hours of election day to ensure victory in the first round.
