Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Directorate of Health Surveillance (Dinavisa) detected the circulation and sale of illegitimate medications without health registration, manufactured by Laboratorio del Águila, following a routine inspection in pharmacies in the department of Alto Paraná.

In this context, the Post-Marketing Surveillance team detected its commercialization through routine inspection in pharmacies in Alto Paraná, manufactured and fractionated by Laboratorio Del Águila- Industria Paraguay, which does not have a current authorization and therefore the products manufactured and fractionated by They do not have health records.

After the detection, the Del Águila Laboratory was inspected and non-compliance with current regulations was verified, as reported by Dinavisa.

The National Directorate of Health Surveillance reminds us of the risks of acquiring or using products not registered with the Health Authority, which are handled in non-authorized establishments, since the conditions under which they were manufactured do not comply with current regulations.

It also emphasizes that the purchased medications must have the minimum information of the health registration number issued by Dinavisa, manufacturing batch data, expiration, technical person responsible, adverse reactions, indications, warnings, dosage.
