The hosts entered the field better and threatened first in the 4th minute when Hoxha received the ball, he had enough space in front of him from the left, he entered the area but just before his final action, he slipped resulting in the shot he attempted with the left to go out.
PAOK began to balance the game, to keep the ball at their feet for more time, but Dinamo threatened once more in the 23′ with Suchic’s shot from outside the area which went over Kotarski’s goal.
Razvan Lucescu’s men reached their first final on 27′ when Živkovic headed in a cross from the left from the height of the penalty area with the ball going just wide of Nevistić’s left post.
Dynamo threatened once more on 36′ with Baturina from inside the area taking the shot and Kotarski getting to his left corner and clearing the ball.
A minute later and while PAOK started their attack from the right, Otto tried to turn to Kenziora but the turn was stronger than it should have been with Petkovic chasing the phase, taking the ball, entering the area and shooting with Kotarski initially repelling but the international footballer took the rebound and opened the scoring for the Croatians with a spot kick in an empty net.
