The leader of the group is the 34-year-old Greek forward and team captain Dina Sarigiannidouto Giannina since 2013, who concluded an extraordinary season with 13.1 points and 8.6 rebounds, leading her teammates to 5th place in the standings and sealing the year with a call-up to the national team.
One of the driving forces is the Greek Styliani Xanthopouloua small forward born in 1997, who embodies the fighting spirit of Giannina, is in her seventh season with the Greek club, after having been the protagonist of the promotion to A1 in 2018-2019. Last year she played in A2 with the fellow citizens of Sk Ioannina with whom she won the championship. The same goes for the guard-forward born in 1998 Eleni Giotitsa with Giannina from 2013 to 2018 including the promotion, in the last three years at Ioannina.
