Dimitris Papamichail He passed away 20 years ago today. The popular actor of Greek cinema breathed his last on August 8, 2004, at the age of 70.
The young Zen premiere who sprung from the National Theater quickly proved that he had the talent and ability to cope with a huge range of roles with equal ease. Both with the work he did with Aliki Vougiouklakis and with the path he carved alone, he managed to build a long career full of success and glory, combining commercial cinema with classic works on the stage.
His son, Yiannis Papamichail, published a joint photo of them on Instagram and noted about his father: “20 years today since the day my father left us, I always have him in my heart and I remember him with love.”
