Tiger King star Joe Exotic has filed for divorce from Dillon Passage. According to TMZ, he submitted the official documents from prison.
Joe Exotic filed for divorce from Dillon Passage on Thursday (31 Mar 22) following four years of marriage.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that the Tiger King star filed his documents from prison. He called their marriage “irretrievably broken” in the filing.
According to Hollywood Life, the two have been separated for over a year, with Dillon Passage posting on Instagram in March 2021 that he was divorcing Joe Exotic, while he is currently dating someone else. However, he never took the steps.
Court documents say Joe Exotic is seeking spousal support in the form of a lump sum and wants to give up the Dillon Passage surname to revert to Joseph Allen Maldonado. His lawyer said he hoped the couple “might both get on with their lives and get a quick and amicable divorce.”
