It must be secured by a password or a code to know the identity of the person who accesses the documents, this ensures the security of a company. This strategy is very important in the confidentiality of customer data.

Electronic administration is a common practice in the professional world, where more and more people use electronic mail, word processing and social networks, this method makes it possible to pass from a traditional service by mail or courier, to a transparent sharing documents and files electronically. With automated practices, messages are transmitted at a faster speed, shorter in duration, and are more effective. Electronic administration eliminates the worry of printing, sending, filing, delivering paper documents.

Launch of E-administration in Morocco

The royal guidelines emphasized the need for digital transformation as a high-impact catalyst to give momentum to the country’s development.

His Majesty King Mohamed VI has used digital technologies to make more efficient and have a quality of services for the development of the economy. He also specified that the use of new technologies aims to improve the accessibility and quality of services made available to citizens. Also, he insisted on the fact of generalizing the electronic administration allowing the common access to information on behalf of the various departments.

The goal is also to make Morocco a digital nation whose goal is to have digital technologies mobilized. He also underlined the quality of the administration’s relationship with its users.

The government’s objectives for the digitization of the administration

Digital transformation is a major objective of this high-impact program. The government has embarked on this path in order to simplify and improve the quality of services provided to users, by setting up a unique identifier for each user to benefit from administrative services, also including the exchange of data between the administrations.

Launch of IDARATI platform: The Moroccan government started with the launch of a few platforms relating to administrative procedures, among them the national portal (www.idarati.ma) administrative procedures and formalities exercise, launched on April 21, 2021.

In accordance with the high royal guidelines and in order to improve the quality of the administration’s service to users, to establish a relationship of trust and transparency. The purpose of Portal Idarati is to allow users to obtain information concerning the procedures and administrative formalities that they must carry out with administrations, public establishments and local authorities. This is a national reference for the user.

The head of division Abderrahim Hassia stressed that through this portal, citizens in Morocco or abroad, as well as residents in the Kingdom will be accompanied. Adding the establishment of several telephone numbers that they can contact, from Morocco on 3737 or the economic number 0802003737or from abroad on 0537679906. Plus an e-mail address indicated on the site with a response time within 48 hours.

He also added that in accordance with the provisions of Law 55.19, the administrative acts published in the Idarati Portal are listed, documented and transcribed by the administration concerned. This Law has decreed several closures in terms of simplification, for example users are asked to provide more than one copy of the application file for an administrative act.
