A fire in a terraced house on Mølhøjvej in Hobro on Friday evening put North Jutland Emergency Services on a bigger task to extinguish the fire.
– Our incident leader (of the police, ed.) is down there, and the emergency services are working to put out the fire, but there are some challenges in putting out the fire that is running under the roof structure, says chief of duty at North Jutland Police Lau Larsen at 20.40 on Friday.
The alarm came at 18:39 on Friday evening, so the firemen had by that time worked for several hours to extinguish the fire completely.
According to Lau Larsen, the fire probably started as a fault in the electrical installation in the house, which is otherwise almost brand new.

The residents of the house were not at home when the fire broke out, so no one was injured in the fire, but the family dog did not survive the fire.
Fire engines from several different stations were deployed to the fire, a total of five fire engines according to Nordjyske’s man on the scene, just as the police provided an emergency manager and an additional patrol car. The emergency services also had a drone with a thermal camera in action to try to locate the fire pockets in the roof structure.
At no time has there been any danger of the fire spreading to the neighboring houses, says Lau Larsen.
