TLAXCALA, Tlax., December 16, 2023.- In order to support the families of Huamantla, the Municipal System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family (DIF) Huamantla, brought various free and medical care services to the residents of the Town of Hermenegildo Galeana with the “DIF in your Community” Brigade.
Nearly 100 people gathered at the Community Presidency, where SMDIF Huamantla staff provided care in general medicine, nutrition, dentistry, social work, as well as haircuts and a new service was added, which is the donation of clothing.
The director of the Municipal DIF, Teresa Ramírez Códiz, took advantage of this visit by the Brigade to publicize the services of the Basic Rehabilitation Unit (UBR), and highlighted the social sensitivity of the president of Huamantla, Salvador Santos Cedillo, as it was this administration which reopened the mechanotherapy, language and therapeutic tank areas of the UBR, which will allow the provision of prevention, detection and rehabilitation services for people with temporary or permanent disabilities.
For their part, inhabitants of the Town of Hermenegildo Galeana, thanked this support and recognized Mayor Santos Cedillo for promoting social benefit programs, which also represent savings in the family economy by not having to travel to the municipal seat to receive the SMDIF services.
The Huamantla City Council, through the Municipal DIF, will continue to carry out social and family welfare actions that improve the quality of life of the Huamantla people.
