Diego Ramos’ Blooper On TV
The present of the pastry shop has a prominent figure who, since its emergence just over two years ago, still attracts the attention of adults and children due to the effect it generates: the so-called piñata cake. It is a preparation that has a chocolate structure that, when broken, reveals an interior full of sweets and gifts, both for those who are celebrating and also for the guests.
During the last broadcast of Mañanísima, the program hosted by Carmen Barbieri in Ciudad Magazine, the pastry chef Samanta Casais made this preparation, and showed the step by step throughout the duration of the program. In the final block it would be time to reveal what the finished product was, and what it felt like to break the cake to see what was inside.
For that key moment of the broadcast, Diego Ramos was chosen, who had been invited to a report to talk regarding his past and present, both in his personal and artistic life. Thus, both the host, the pastry chef and the actor were arranged around the preparation, accompanied by the columnists Pampito and Estefi Berardi. After being given a wooden hammer, Ramos asked how he should strike the blow, whether from the top down or from the side. The creator asked her to do it “with all the anger.” No sooner said than done…
After singing “Happy Birthday” to himself, the actor brought down the hammer harder than anyone in the studio might have imagined. And when he hit the cake sideways, he directly broke the imposing plate on which it was presented, causing everyone to have to move away in an instant to take shelter from the flying glass.
“I felt like a piece of glass jumped on me!” shouted an alarmed Berardi, while Pampito began to laugh and point out to Ramos what he had done: “You hit him with a lot of shoulder,” he considered. For her part, Samanta only managed to shout “My plate!”, horrified, suffering because it would no longer be useful… Diego’s first reaction was to look at the camera and assure that he might fail, and as he went to the pastry chef, He clarified: “I said that you have many and nothing happens…”.
Diego Ramos is part of the work SEX, by José María Muscari
In a talk in recent days with Teleshow, Diego Ramos had reflected on the present of television: “I always watch a lot of TV, I have no prejudice, and if I don’t like something I change it, I believe a lot in the power of the remote control, or I believe that the things that exist, if they exist, are for a reason. I talk a lot to the TV while I watch, I get angry or laugh, I have fun and I like all kinds of programs. I think we fell into the television of judgment, regarding which we know everything, regarding which many times the question is more important than the answer, regarding not allowing a point to be put and overwhelming with a cross-question. It seems to me that those of us who make TV have to fight a lot once morest that. Beyond that, it seems to me that today’s TV is like this, with the programs that there are and with this type of formats, it is because obviously we like it.”
Regarding how the days of 2023 continue, he assured: “Continue with Sex, from Thursday to Sunday, double feature Friday, triple Saturday. It is a pleasure, not only because people go, but they enjoy it so much that they return two, three, four times with different groups, friends, families, couples. I am also directing a comedy on the Paseo de la Plaza, on Tuesdays at eight at night, called Wasabi. Very happy, because directing is something that I like a lot, it interests me: I get into it a lot, I study a lot and I work a lot and I think it’s great to direct. I am recording a program for Discovery Human Health called Everything is Transformed, where we renovate certain rooms in the house. I enjoy it because it is not only driving, which I love, but also helping people or organizations to have a better infrastructure and that makes their task easier.”
