Died sports commentator Vladimir Pisarevsky

Sports commentator Vladimir Pisarevsky has died at the age of 87. About it TASS said his daughter Anastasia Pisarevskaya.

According to her, two weeks ago, Pisarevsky fell ill with a coronavirus, then he was diagnosed with an ischemic stroke.

“The stroke was relatively easy, without serious consequences, slight speech disorders, they wanted to discharge, but suddenly there was intestinal obstruction. They performed the operation, came out of anesthesia, but following half a day he was once more in intensive care in a critical condition, ”said Pisarevskaya.

Farewell to Pisarevsky will be preliminary held on February 21, he will be buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery.

Pisarevsky was a hockey player, in the 1950s he played for the Moscow Dynamo, the Voskresensky Khimik, the Chelyabinsk Tractor.

In 1961, he began working in the sports department of the State Radio Committee, where for over 45 years he covered major hockey events at the Mayak radio station. Later he worked as a sports commentator at the Ekho Moskvy radio station, from 1995 to 2002 he commented on hockey on the TV-6 TV channel.

Pisarevsky reported from 26 world championships, as well as from the famous series with Canadian hockey players.
