The law firm, which represents 120 people with allegations against US rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, is also taking action against other stars from his environment. Lawyer Tony Buzbee did not name any names, but confirmed in an interview with the portal “TMZ.com” that well-known celebrities were among them. The allegations against Combs include sexual assault and abuse, including of minors.
According to the Houston-based law firm, the crimes have mostly taken place at parties or events in New York and Los Angeles since 1991. These were well attended, said Buzbee. “Many people observed this going on, many people allowed it to happen, said nothing, did not intervene, perhaps even benefited from it.” They are now the focus.
The law firm is in contact with the accused and is trying to reach out-of-court settlements. In some cases these have already been achieved. If this fails, the lawyers would file lawsuits and “vigorously pursue” the cases.
The 54-year-old Combs, who was one of the most successful rappers in the world in recent decades with hits like “I’ll Be Missing You” and “Bad Boy For Life”, has been in custody for three weeks. He is accused of human trafficking, organized crime and other crimes. There are also already several civil lawsuits alleging sexual abuse. Combs denies the allegations.

Shining a Light on Enablers: The Diddy scandal Takes a Darker Turn
The latest developments in the Sean “Diddy” Combs scandal have raised more questions than answers. As the rapper remains in custody, facing allegations of human trafficking, organized crime, and other heinous crimes, attention is being directed towards those who may have facilitated or enabled his behavior.
According to Tony Buzbee, the lawyer representing 120 people with allegations against Diddy, the New York and Los Angeles party circuit has been a hub for the rapper’s abuses since 1991. But what’s even more disturbing is the fact that these incidents often took place in the presence of others, many of whom chose to turn a blind eye or, worse still, benefited from them.
Buzbee’s law firm is now coming after these enablers, taking action against other celebrities from Diddy’s inner circle who may have been aware of or involved in the rapper’s alleged crimes. While the names of these individuals have not been released, it’s clear that the firm is not just looking to hold Diddy accountable but also to expose a culture of complicity and silence that has allowed these abuses to continue for decades.
As the firm pursues out-of-court settlements with some of the accused, it’s also prepared to file lawsuits and “vigorously pursue” these cases if negotiations fail. It’s a bold move, one that may finally bring some justice to the victims of Diddy’s alleged crimes.
But there’s a broader conversation to be had here. How could so many people have known about Diddy’s abuses and done nothing to stop them? What kind of culture allows such behavior to thrive, and how can we work to dismantle it?
As the entertainment industry grapples with these questions, one thing is clear: the days of enabling and silence are over. It’s time to hold everyone accountable, from the perpetrators to those who empowered them to continue their crimes.
