Did you know ? Caroline Roux was inspired by a film for the name of her daughter

In an interview with the Journal du Dimanche, Caroline Roux spoke regarding the name of her eldest daughter. A first name chosen following the release of a film directed by Claude Sautet in 1972…

To find the first names of their children, the stars have several inspirations. As proof, the case of Sonia Rolland who, for the first names of his daughters, was inspired not only by Greek mythology but also origins of one of his former companions. Regarding Caroline Rouxeverything suggests that for the first name of her eldest daughter, she let herself be guided by a cult film: that of Claude Sautet, Caesar and Rosalie (released in 1972).

During an interview with the Sunday newspaper in March 2021, the political journalist returned to the first name of her eldest daughter, born in 2004 from her relationship with Laurent Solly. “I named my daughter following this movie”, she first let it be known. And to continue:Cis a story of a free, independent, beautiful and strong woman. Romy Schneider is stunning, overwhelming. And it is she who chooses, who decides. If there was only one left, it would be this one..”

Caroline Roux, her children come first

During an interview given to our colleagues from Figaro last January, the mother of Rosalie and Marceau poured out on her pace of work. The opportunity for the presenter of C in the air (France 5) – usually very discreet regarding his private life -, to share some secrets regarding his family life. “Me, I gave up mornings. Since they were all small, breakfast is without me“, she had initially regretted.

And to continue, regarding the look that her children have on her work as an animator: “They see me on the air, and the older they get, the more they have an opinion on my interviews. I like their look, I listen to what they say.” A very different opinion from that of her husband, Laurent Solly : “He has a look that lifts me up, I have a lot of admiration for him, his judgement, his knowledge of history and political life.”
