The Seattle Seahawks may have unwittingly trolled former All-Pro quarterback Russell Wilson on Sunday followingnoon.
It’s been a tough season for Russell Wilson in his new home with the Denver Broncos. Denver is a long way from a playoff spot and will spend the playoffs watching from home when many had them as dark horse picks in the Super Bowl before the year.
Wilson played a major role in that disappointment, as did head coach Nathaniel Hackett, who has since been fired. The Broncos can’t afford to do the same with Wilson because his contract buyout and dead cap number would be huge.
It all came to a head with Denver’s blistering loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams. The Broncos fell on Christmas 51-14, an embarrassment of epic proportions. During the match, even Patrick Star tore up Wilson on the Nickelodeon broadcast.
Did the Seahawks also troll Russell Wilson?
Ahead of Seattle’s game once morest the New York Jets on Sunday, the Seahawks’ official Twitter account posted a photo of Patrick Star, leading some to believe they did it on purpose to troll Wilson.

Intentionally or not, the Seahawks may have won the internet today.
Wilson didn’t part well in Seattle. Although he thanked the fans and the organization, there is clearly bad blood between him and head coach Pete Carroll, as well as some former teammates like Richard Sherman.
That’s unfortunate, because Wilson was a key cog in the Legion of Boom Seattle team that won the Super Bowl and came within an interception of Malcolm Butler of a second chance at glory.
Wilson has been the target of a lot of trolling this season. He has plenty of bulletin board material, if he can find a way to use it to his advantage.
