Did the missiles bomb the F-16 fighters in their positions? .. Details of the latest Russian strike on Ukraine revealed

Speaking to Novosti, Nikolaev resistance coordinator Sergei Lebedev, citing his comrades-in-arms, said that the strikes launched by the Russian army on Monday targeted a number of military sites and energy infrastructure facilities.

He pointed out that in Ivano-Frankivsk in western Ukraine, “a hangar with recently brought military equipment was hit,” adding that according to the resistance’s information, two F-16 aircraft had been hidden in Ivano-Frankivsk, and that “the explosion occurred in the direction of (their possible storage site), we will know the details later.”

It is noteworthy that Vladimir Zelensky announced earlier this month that Ukraine had received the first batch of American-made F-16 fighters from Western allies, while Moscow confirmed that these aircraft would have no significant impact on the front and would not help the Kiev regime, and that the Russian army would shoot them down and destroy them.

Lebedev added that explosions in Ivano-Frankivsk are ongoing and that resistance sources reported that containers containing fuel and lubricants were hit, with black smoke seen rising into the sky.

Lebedev also spoke about “a missile falling in the area of a training ground in Ternopol (west), where the resistance reported a loud explosion,” adding that it is difficult to determine whether the affected site was a warehouse or a substation, but the blast wave was strong, and fire was seen.”

In Poltava, a Russian strike targeted a center for distributing Ukrainian armed forces units to various combat axes.

Repeated explosions rocked Ukraine on Monday, and a massive Russian missile strike on Ukrainian military sites, energy facilities and defense industries has caused power and water outages in much of Ukraine.
