Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes expressed his happiness at beating Manchester City in the English Premier League following falling behind by a goal.
This came in statements made by Fernandes and reported by “Bleacher Report”, in which he appeared as if he was talking regarding the period in which his colleague Cristiano Ronaldo was present.
Fernandes said: “I said that before the match, we are a team now, before that we looked good for a while and sometimes not, but now we are a respectable team, we work hard and hard for each other and the results show.”
He added, “The goal? I think I was facing the goal and Rashford found that I was in a better position. I don’t know if one of us was offside or not.”
And he added, “In the end, this does not make the difference. There was no one close to him, and therefore it did not affect the play. It was a goal in the end and we are happy for that.”
It is worth noting that the meeting raised Manchester United’s balance to point 38, in third place, behind Manchester City, which has 39 points.
