Did he intend to commit suicide? Investigators find “new evidence” in the car of the Trump shooter

The TV channel reported that “investigators found a bulletproof vest in the suspect’s car, but it is not known why he did not wear it when attacking the former president. Some investigators are wondering whether he intended to die during the attack.”

Investigators also found a remote transmitter in Crooks’ pocket, possibly intended to activate two suspicious devices found in his car and home.

In contrast, US intelligence failed to find anything that would determine the motives of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the shooter of former President Donald Trump, despite hacking his phone and examining his computer, home and car.

The Associated Press reported that “for three days, the FBI was unable to determine the motive behind the shooting of Trump during the rally,” noting that “he had no clear political affiliation.”

Thomas Matthew Crooks was shot dead by Secret Service agents following he fired an AR-style rifle at Trump, hitting him in the right ear. One person was killed and two others were critically injured.

American media reported that Thomas Crooks had no criminal past and the authorities had not determined the motive for his attempted assassination of Trump.

Multiple federal agencies are currently involved in the investigation, and law enforcement officials say the shooting is being investigated as an attempted assassination.
