Did Ahmed Zaki’s mother abandon the late? Crisis with an accused writer

Although he confirmed that he did not intend any offense to the family of the late artist Ahmed Zaki, the family of the late apparently wants to sue the writer Mohamed Tawfik, in protest of things he mentioned in his book “Ahmed Zaki 86”.

Mona Zaki, the artist’s sister, revealed that writers have the right to allocate and write regarding public figures, but without prejudice to the truth, stressing the need for the writer to be keen to show that character in a decent manner.

“It is not permissible to slander”

She justified her words by saying that people will eventually read books, and therefore the point of view will be the responsibility of the one who conveys the ideas, according to what she said during a telephone interview on the “Cairo Talk” program.

The sister also stressed that Ahmed Zaki gave everything good to the Egyptian people through the stories he told, and he should not be slandered, as she put it.
