Director Martin Scorsese in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal told that Leonardo DiCaprio’s improvisations on the set of Killers of the Flower Moon tired not only the director, but also Robert De Niro. According to Scorsese, DiCaprio added “never-ending, never-ending, never-ending!” to his lines. the amount of improvisation that made Scorsese and De Niro roll their eyes.

“After that Bob [Роберт Де Ниро] didn’t want to talk. Every now and then Bob and I would look at each other and roll our eyes a little. And we told him: “You don’t need this dialogue,” said Martin Scorsese.

The director’s comments should not be taken seriously, since Leonardo DiCaprio made a significant contribution to the work on the story of Killers of the Flower Moon. Thanks to the actor, Martin Scorsese reworked the story entirely, telling it from the perspective of the inhabitants of the Osage settlement, and not from the perspective of FBI agents, as was originally planned. Martin Scorsese also recently confirmed that he will once once more star Leonardo DiCaprio in his next film.

Killers of the Flower Moon debuted at the US box office last week and earned over $40 million in its opening weekend. After distribution, the film will be released on the Apple TV+ service – the release date will be announced later. The film’s trailer can be seen here.
